A Little More About Me

I was born and raised in Saint Albans, VT.  In 2003, I left Franklin County to attend the University of Vermont where I received by B. A in Literature and Classical History.  Shortly after college,  I co-created and edited a poetry journal for three years while I worked at the former Fletcher Allen Health Care as a secretary for the inpatient psychiatry unit and as a chocolatier on Church Street in Burlington. However, I eventually found my true calling, and I left Chittenden County to run an afterschool program in Swanton. Eventually I earned my M. Ed. in Education from Southern New Hampshire University.  In 2017 my family and I moved to Enosburg Falls. I have been working as the FNESU Director of Afterschool Programs since 2018 where I oversee eight afterschool and summer programs. You can often see me walking my two goldendoodles around the village or playing dinosaurs with my 9 year old son. When not working or volunteering, I love gardening, raising monarchs, hiking,  swimming, and kayaking with my husband, son and our two dogs. I'm an avid reader with a soft spot for Greco-Roman and British stories, I love knitting and cooking.
